LCPS Asks Residents to be WatchfulLoudoun County Public Schools has contacted Willowsford and asked if residents would be alert to potential trespass at the Lightridge High School site. Last weekend a group of teens were seen at the site but scattered when the sheriff’s patrol arrived. The site is a fully active construction site. It is a dangerous area to be wandering about and LCPS does not want anyone to get hurt. The property is gated and posted for no trespass. While safety is most important it is also noted that anyone caught trespassing could face charges and expenses for damages. Unfortunately, this has happened at other LCPS sites and violators were prosecuted. LCPS is not suggesting that residents from Willowsford were on the site. LCPS is simply asking the community to be alert and report anything suspicious. Thank you in advance for your assistance!
