Brew Club

Willowford Brew Club is hosting an event on Friday, January 31st from 6:30 - 10:30 PM at The Lodge. We'll have a speaker from Old Bust Head Brewery talk about their brewery and beers. We'll have a selection of OBH beers to try so bring a few extra bucks for the sampling, a dish to share, and any beverages you wish. See our Facebook page or sign up for our email list at willowsfordbrewclub@gmail.com.

Old Bust Head Brewing Company is named for a rural crossroads in the rolling hills of Fauquier County, Virginia. The locals who dubbed the corner ‘Bust Head’ enjoyed not only the potent libations brewed there, but also a little good humor. Some say the nickname came about when a neighbor fell off his horse after ‘overindulging’ at the corner shop one evening. Others say the locals who drank there were partial to Saturday night fights, or that they just fell down and busted their heads on the rough old country road.

Old Bust Head is an independent craft brewery and brews a wide variety of ales and lagers from Pilsners to Porters. The name of the beers are typically anecdotes from their local community in Vint Hill, Virgina. You can check out what goes into making their delicious brews while reading about the story behind each label. Old Bust Head is serious about the art of crafting exceptional beer, passionate about the environment, and likes to keep things in perspective and enjoyable for everyone.

Old Bust Head is located just 30 minutes South from The Lodge off Route 15 in Vint Hill, Virgina. Old Bust Head has a great venue with food trucks, music, growler fills, and brewery tours Wednesdays - Sunday. See their website for details.
