The DRC approved a final draft of the Design Standards for review by the attorney, prior to being open for viewing and comment by the community. From the Design Review Committee
"You requested; we listened! Willowsford's Design Review Committee (DRC), comprised of resident volunteers who work in tandem with Management, have reviewed nearly 800 design review applications for exterior modifications in our community in 2021. With a shared goal '.....to safeguard and foster Willowsford's vision, distinct guiding principles and design review methods are set in place to ensure continuation of our community's unrivaled architectural beauty....'—the DRC will now provide resident Technical Assistance Advisors to help guide residents through the application and review process.
It is envisioned that the Technical Assistance Advisors (TAA’s) will reduce some of the common frustrations residents routinely express when preparing their applications for DRC review. Residents who require additional assistance or have questions about applying for an exterior modification are encouraged to submit their query to DRC@Willowsfordlife.com. For more information about the DRC, Exterior Modification Guidelines, and Exterior Modification Application, residents should visit the Design Review page on WillowsfordLife.com."
The Design Review Committee meets monthly. The next DRC Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 26th and will be held remotely via Zoom, with resident forum opening at 9 AM.

Q: What do you enjoy most about serving on the Board of Directors? A: That's easy—it's fun! I volunteered because I thought it would be fun to help our community and meet my neighbors at the same time. Turns out it is.
Q: What is the first concert you attended? A: Jethro Tull. Ian Anderson is still the best in my book.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in Loudoun County? A: Long bike rides. There are so many great things to do here. But I've discovered that the rural parts of our county are just about as good as it gets for a long, enjoyable ride.
