Rebecca LyonsCommunity Manager
Rebecca has been with Willowsford for over 5 years! She is the liaison between the Board of Directors and residents in the execution of the established policies. Rebecca works with the Board on strategic initiatives, policy governance and association projects, as well as oversees Association staff.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in Loudoun County? A: Participate in a Willowsford event! This is also one of the best things about my job (aside from my odd enjoyment of analyzing financial reports.) There is nothing quite like seeing all the kids visit with Santa, or having the lawn at The Lodge filled with residents in red, white and blue enjoying a band and fireworks. I’m excited to resume the in-person, experience-based living that has drawn us all to Willowsford.
Q: Where is your hometown? A: Urbana, Ohio. Our claim to fame is being in the movie The Little Giants.
Q: What is your favorite local restaurant? A: AhSo. I don’t get there often, but always enjoy their creative food and cocktail menus.

Brew Club - Holiday Cheers & Beers Celebration Did you know that President Abraham Lincoln taxed beer to help fund and pay for the Civil War? That’s right! Honest Abe tapped into the beer industry to fund the war and advance freedom. Alas, beer, in all its other rich qualities, has patriotic roots! Okay, perhaps that is a stretch. But did you further know that Willowsford Brew Club exists to promote the finer qualities of Lagers, Ales, Stouts, Pilsners, Porters, Saisons, and Kölsch just to name a few? That’s right. The Willowsford Brew Club is ready to resurrect and promote #UnityofCommunity over our shared fondness for a beer with our friends and neighbors! Our first event since 2019—it's time to bring your favorite malt and hops concoction and your favorite stein or solo cup and join the Willowsford Brew Club!
When: Friday, December 3rd from 6:30 - 10:30 PM Where: The Lodge Who: Any Willowsford resident with an affection for golden nectar (21+, only) What: Bring your favorite beverage, dish, snack or something to share Attire: Ugly Sweater or anything that makes you feel great while enjoying suds!
