Concert Series

Friday, June 24th from 6 - 8 PM at Everfield Park Pavilion. Come enjoy the sounds of CAISO Steel Drum Band! Their music is festive and relaxing, featuring Calypso, Reggae and Latin Jazz genres. This concert is fun for all ages. Registration not necessary to attend. Parking is available in the Everfield Parking Lot as well as street parking along Lavender Valley Court. Location: 23558 Everfield Drive, Ashburn, VA 20148.

Sunday Pool Snacks by Willowsford Kitchen

TASTY TREATS! You asked, we listened. New this season, Willowsford Kitchen is offering fresh and tasty sandwiches, salads, snacks and more for purchase at both pools on select Sundays from 11:30 AM - 3 PM, while supplies last. Simply scan our QR code signage, order and pay on your phone, and your items will be delivered to you at the pool. Be on the lookout for signage at the pools.

Recycling & Yard Waste Reminder

American Disposal picks up recycling on Fridays. Please ensure all boxes are broken down when placed in the bin or at the curb. Items not broken down may not be collected. Yard Waste pick up occurs on Wednesdays. To keep Willowsford beautiful, please do not place yard waste at the curb prior to Tuesday evening.

Hal & Berni Hanson Regional Park Update

Light-level testing is scheduled for the evening hours at the new Hal and Berni Hanson Regional Park athletic fields for two weeks beginning Monday, June 13th, weather permitting. Residents will notice increased activity at the park prior to the testing date. Construction is estimated to be completed in June 2022. 

Call for Volunteers - Design Review Committee

GET INVOLVED! The Design Review Committee is looking for a few volunteers to join the team. The DRC reviews about 80-120 applications every month and it is not a small endeavor. Volunteers with experience in construction, architecture, landscaping, and design are preferred but not required. With the high volume and attention to detail required for reviewing applications, anticipate a commitment level of about 8-12 hours per month. DRC meetings begin at 9AM on the third Wednesday of every month at Sycamore House. If you would like to volunteer or require more information, please reach out to DRC@willowsfordlife.com.

Splash Parties

TONIGHT! Wednesday, June 15th from 5 - 7 PM at both Sycamore Pool and Lodge Pool. Celebrate the start of summer at the Willowsford pools! Interactive DJs will keep the party pumping throughout the evening. Registration not required to attend; first come-first serve until pool capacity is met. 

Cocktails & Canapés

LAST CHANCE! Saturday, June 25th from 4:30 - 5:30 PM on The Lodge Patio. We are excited for the Farm bounty that summer brings and will be showcasing some of our party favorites at Cocktails & Canapés. You’re invited to experience this interactive tasting where Chef Emily will be demonstrating simple bites you can put together for your next party. We will also be tasting a signature cocktail and mocktail and passing delicious morsels. This is a great opportunity to meet the Willowsford Kitchen team (and mingle with neighbors), without committing to a full culinary class. Cost is $25/person, 21+ only. Registration Catalog

Friday, July 1st from 6 - 10 PM at The Lodge. Join the spirit of community with family, friends, and neighbors as we celebrate our Nation’s birthday! Enjoy an evening of fun including live music, entertainment, food/drink, and more, ending with a finale of fireworks overlooking Willow Lake. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, and picnic, if you wish.  Gates open at 4 PM on event day. All attendees 21+ must bring a valid ID. This event is FREE for residents but please be sure to register online in advance and have your e-tickets ready. 

COBRA Self-Defense Class

NEW! Sunday, July 10th from 1 - 3 PM at Sycamore House. Join Jessica Harden, a local Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach and COBRA Self-Defense Instructor for the afternoon. COBRA teaches real life self-defense techniques that anyone can do regardless of age, sex, size, or gender. COBRA focuses on awareness skills as the foundation of safety and teaches strike and escape techniques that are effective, quick and provide the best opportunity to get to safety. This class is intended for teens and adults, ages 13 and up. Cost is $25/person. Registration Catalog

LetSwim Session 1 Group Swim Lessons start next week June 20th! Space is limited. Please use the waitlist feature if the class is full. LetSwim is the only vendor authorized to provide swim lessons at Willowsford pools.

Thursday, June 16th at 7 PM at Sycamore House. It’s game night! You don't have to know how to play. We are happy to help you learn. Willowsford Fit

Our state-of-the-art Fitness Center is located inside The Lodge in The Greens. The facility offers Matrix cardio machines, circuit training weight machines and free weights. Cardio machines include iPhone/iPod connectors and personal TV stations. Key fob access is available to residents in good standing.

Fishing Class

Trout Unlimited’s local chapter joins Willowsford Conservancy to teach the fundamentals of fishing and basic fish ecology at Willow Lake. Chef Gabe will also be teaching attendees how to break down fish and basic techniques on how to cook it! Register, here.
