Community Makers Market

Registration is NOW OPEN to claim your spot at Willowsford's Community Makers Market on Sunday, September 25th from 8 AM – 12 PM. Resident artists, makers, and craftspeople are invited to sell their handmade goods at this market! The event will be held outdoors in the lower parking lot at The Lodge and will be advertised/open to the public for shopping. Please view the Registration Catalog for details, information, and FAQs.

• Please break-down cardboard boxes and place in the recycle bin as much as possible. If they do not fit, use one box to hold the extra broken-down items

Coffee & Conversation

Grove Trail Repairs

We are excited to announce NVM Paving is currently performing trail repairs in The Grove, weather permitting. You may see representatives from NVM Paving marking the areas assigned for repairs prior to beginning work. Portions of trails under construction will be closed with caution tape and/or cones. Please avoid walking in these sections for your safety. The caution tape and cones will remain for 24 hours after the work in each location has been completed to ensure the area has had time to “set”. Trails will remain open during construction; however, if you encounter the crews working or areas that are caution taped, please walk around them, and continue to enjoy your walk. We appreciate your patience as we update the trail system throughout the Willowsford community.

Movie Under the Stars

COBRA Self-Defense Class

LAST CHANCE! Sunday, September 11th from 1 - 3 PM at The Lodge. Join Jessica Harden, a local Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach and COBRA Self-Defense Instructor for the afternoon. COBRA teaches real life self-defense techniques that anyone can do. COBRA focuses on awareness skills as the foundation of safety and teaches strike and escape techniques that are effective, quick and provide the best opportunity to get to safety. This class is intended for children, ages 5-11. Cost is $59/person. Registration Catalog

CSA Dinner: Transition of Seasons

LAST CHANCE! Friday, September 16th from 6 – 8 at The Lodge. Chef Emily is joining forces with Willowsford Conservancy again to highlight the current seasonal abundance coming from Willowsford Farm and their local partners. Because seasonality varies and is weather dependent, the menu will be revealed at the dinner! Chef Gabe will also be on-hand to share Farm happenings and products. The meal will begin with late summer produce and as the dishes progress, seasons will overlap and finish with a dessert that brings out the flavors of fall.

This four-course dinner will be served family style with house wines. In addition, participants will take home recipe suggestions. Aside from Farm Stand produce, we will showcase products from Harvest Symphony, Beechwood Orchards, South Mountain Creamery, Rosmann Family Farms, Lyon Bakery, Back Creek Farms, Village Cheeseworks, Foggy Mountain Pasta, and many more pantry items from the Farm Stand. Jr. Chef Academy

Kids can cook and entertain! Jr. Chef Academy, a special series of classes teaching children how to plan, cook for, and throw a party, is back. Kids will learn how to cook seasonally, use the Willowsford Farm harvest, a variety of key cooking techniques, party planning and party etiquette. The series finale will be a special celebration, hosted and catered by the kids, followed by a graduation ceremony. The Jr. Chef Academy per-child price includes an invitation for one special guest to attend the party and graduation ceremony. FC Virginia Soccer Programming

FC Virginia is excited to partner with Willowsford to provide in-neighborhood recreational soccer programming for players ages 2-8 this fall at The Lodge! Discover Soccer is held on Saturday mornings for 45 minutes and is for players 2-4 who are new to the game. This program combines soccer activities and games, with motor skill and social development. U6-U8 Recreational Soccer consists of 1 weekday practice on Wednesdays, along with modified game play on Saturday mornings. These programs have rolling enrollment so there is no late registration.

Shalom Club

NEW! Shalom Willowsford Club is an inclusive community of Willowsford residents that share an interest in the Jewish faith, customs, and traditions. The club will meet once or twice a month to host cultural events such as cooking classes, Shabbat dinners, holidays, musical evenings, kosher wine tastings, and children's arts & crafts. While the club may primarily appeal to residents of the Jewish faith, club activities will be open for participation by everyone. So if you have an interest in celebrating your own traditions, or learning more about the traditions of your Jewish friends and neighbors, please join us at our next event.

Bunco Babes Club

NEW! Thursday, September 15th at 7 PM at The Lodge. It’s game night! You don't have to know how to play. We are happy to help you learn. Willowsford Fit

Our state-of-the-art Fitness Center is located inside The Lodge in The Greens. The facility offers Matrix cardio machines, circuit training weight machines and free weights. Cardio machines include iPhone/iPod connectors and personal TV stations. Key fob access is available to residents in good standing.

Annual Conservancy Bonfire

The Annual Conservancy Bonfire and Camp Over is this Saturday, September 10th! Spend a memorable evening with your neighbors at Hidden Meadow with live music, Willard's Pit BBQ, and a fun night underneath the stars. Camp over for the night and enjoy Mexican breakfast specials the next morning! Rise and shine with Taco Town, who will have breakfast burritos, quesadillas, conchas, and other Mexican favorites to enjoy. Register Here!

KT Pizza at the Farm Stand
