Makers Market & Concert

Sunday, September 24th from 8 AM - 12 PM at The Lodge. Get a jump start on holiday gift giving! This event will be held outdoors in The Lodge parking lot. Residents can register to sell their handcrafted goods and wares, or simply come and support your neighborhood crafters while enjoying live music by Chasing Autumn. HOA Strategic Planning Survey

UPDATE! The Strategic Plan Resident Survey through Survey Monkey is live (CLICK HERE). Thank you in advance for participating, supporting the Willowsford Strategic Planning Committee focused on the future of Willowsford. The results will be used to inform the Strategic Plan and determine what and how Amenities, Programs/Events, and Services will be a part of Willowsford. The 13-question survey includes multiple choice, ranking, and rating style questions, and will take about ten minutes of your time. As we optimistically look to the future of this outstanding community, it is your perspective that we need to frame the improvements and vision for Willowsford looking forward.

The survey will close on August 27th. Your feedback is extremely valuable! Thank you for your time and thoughtful responses.

Solarize Piedmont

Solarize Piedmont 2023, a Piedmont Environmental Council campaign in partnership with the Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP) and participating municipalities, is running now through August 31st. Solarize Piedmont makes switching to solar cheaper and easier for homeowners and business owners because LEAP does the leg work for them and connects them with pre-vetted, high-quality installers offering discounted rates. For those thinking about going solar, LEAP provides a free satellite assessment to ensure the property is viable for solar.

In support of Virginia’s goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, Solarize Piedmont is part of the broader Solarize Virginia program and is available to those in Albemarle, Clarke, Culpeper, Fauquier, Greene, Loudoun, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock counties, and the City of Charlottesville. For more details, Solarize Virginia is offering a virtual information session August 17th at 3 PM. Participants can register here by August 31st. 

Lodge Pool Incident

NEW! The HOA has been made aware of a reported incident of lewd behavior over the weekend at The Lodge Pool restroom. The safety of our community and its members is our utmost concern. We have been in touch with LCSO who is taking this report seriously. We have discussed with pool management the importance of requiring all who enter and re-enter the pool to use their key fobs, and that if they see this individual again, to contact LCSO immediately. Regarding Camp Willowsford, campers staying for Extended Day go to the pool on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons (weather permitting). There is a ratio of 3-4 campers per counselor at the pool and campers are always attended to, including in the changing room/restroom area. If you have any information related to this incident, please contact LCSO at 703.777.1021.

Community Standards Inspections

Our Community Standards Team is currently conducting comprehensive inspections in The Grant. During a comprehensive inspection, our Covenants Team reviews the entire exterior of each Lot. These inspections are conducted on each lot every 18 months. Comprehensive inspections ensure properties are well maintained keeping your property values high. If you have any questions about the inspection process, please reach out to our Covenants Manager, Marlith, at DRC@willowsford.com. As a reminder, curb appeal inspections occur weekly throughout all four villages.

Design Review

The Design Review Committee meets monthly at Sycamore House with resident forum opening at 9 AM. For more information about the Design Review process, click here.

Popsicles at the Playground

Thursday, August 24th from 3 – 4:30 PM at The Lodge Playground. Celebrate the first day of school with us at Willowsford’s newest playground in The Greens! King of Pops will be handing out popsicles, while supplies last. Free for residents; registration not required.

Dive-In Movie

Friday, August 18th from 8:30 - 10 PM at Lodge Pool. We will be featuring the movie LIGHTYEAR (PG). Come early to swim and stay through the movie! Scoops2U will be serving up ice cream bars starting at 7:30 PM. Registration not required; admission is handled on a first-come, first-served basis until the pool reaches capacity. Please ensure that floats used in the pool are limited to arm floaties, vests, small innertubes, etc. Larger floats and rafts are not permitted for safety reasons. Rain Date: 8/25

Ice Cream Social

Sunday, August 27th from 2 - 3 PM at Willow Grove Splash Park. "I scream; you scream; we all scream for ICE CREAM!" Choose your favorite toppings and create a delicious sundae to celebrate the last days of summer. Free for residents; registration not required. 

First Friday Happy Hour

NEW! Friday, September 1st from 5:30 - 7:30 PM at Sycamore House. Kick off the weekend with complimentary drinks on tap and food samples featuring Willowsford Farm produce! First-come, first-served until it's gone. Valid ID required to consume alcohol and will be checked prior to serving. Feel free to bring a blanket and picnic to enjoy.

Dueling Pianos Night

NEW! Saturday, September 9th from 6 - 9 PM at Tenant House Amphitheater. Blazin' Keys is bringing their signature, comedy-based, dueling piano show to Willowsford! Join us for an evening featuring clap-a-longs, sing-a-longs, drinking songs, toasts, and hi-octane comedy under the stars. But most importantly, the show is all about the audience. Please bring your own picnic and beverages. Registration not required; 21+ only.

Fall Recreational Soccer

FC Virginia & Willowsford are excited to partner again this fall for exclusive recreational soccer programming at The Lodge. Available in three different groups, ranging from ages 2 - 8, these recreational programs are a great way to keep your young ones active this fall. The season runs September 5th - November 4th with all games occurring Saturday mornings. Availability is limited; Register Here by August 18th to secure your spot.

Willowsford Fit

Our state-of-the-art Fitness Center is located inside The Lodge in The Greens. The Facility offers Matrix cardio machines, circuit training weight machines, and free weights. Cardio machines include iPhone/iPod connectors and personal TV stations. Key fob access is available to residents in good standing.

Bunco Babes Club

Wednesday, August 16th from 7 - 10 PM at Sycamore House. It’s game night! You don't have to know how to play. We are happy to help you learn. Yoga at Willowsford is Back
