Fireworks Over The Lodge


The Fireworks


Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30 PM. For your own safety, please do not attempt to stand, sit or walk in areas marked as off-limits during the fireworks event!

Parking


Parking attendants, Loudoun County Sheriff deputies and signage will clearly indicate areas available for parking around The Lodge as well as on Grassland Grove Drive. Please do not attempt to park in areas designated as off-limits, such as Braddock Road and the roped-off section of Grassland Grove closest to the fireworks set-off location. If cars are parked in prohibited areas on Grassland Grove, the fireworks cannot proceed.

The gym parking lot will not be accessible after 12 PM.

Registration


Registration and guest wristband pick-up will be located at two entry points on The Lodge back lawn beginning at 5 PM.

Pre-registered residents may pick up wristbands beginning June 26th at The Lodge or Sycamore House until 4 PM Sunday, July 1st. Wristbands will be available for pick up today (at Sycamore House only) until 5 PM. IDs are required at registration. 

ID Check


ID check will be required for everyone entering the event. A 21+ wristband must be visible at all times if consuming alcohol (whether purchased or brought from home) DON’T FORGET YOUR ID.

Boat & Kayak Use


Boats and kayaks will not be available for use during the July 3rd event for safety purposes.

Building Closures


The Boat House and The Lodge, including the Fitness Center, will be closed during the event.

Pool Hours


Sycamore Pool will close at 8 PM. The Lodge Pool hours have been extended until 10 PM. 

Restrooms


Portable restrooms will be available for use in the parking lots. 

Pets


Please leave your pets at home. Independence Day is the busiest day for shelters. Large crowds and loud noises can make dogs anxious and nervous. To ensure their safety and the safety of others please leave your pets indoors.

Food Trucks


Food trucks will be available for purchasing food at 6 PM. This year we have added more food trucks to cut back on the long lines. As an option, residents may bring a picnic basket from home.

Beer & Wine


Beer and wine will be available for purchase at 6 PM. You must have a 21+ wristband to purchase alcohol.
