Saturday, June 8th from 9 AM – 2:30 PM at Sycamore House. This course is designed to prepare students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they're home alone, watching younger siblings or babysitting. This instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises. Students even get to use manikins to practice safety skills like choking rescue and CPR! Cost is $90 per student. After a long winter and a busy spring, Opening Day at Willowsford Farm Stand is this weekend! May 4th at 9 AM, join us for brunch from Golly Waffles food truck, a chance to see and touch some of this year’s baby chicks, and market tables bursting with spring vegetables. Kayaks and Canoes
The boats at Willow Lake will be available for use beginning Saturday, May 25th through Monday, September 2nd on a first come, first served basis during the pool operational hours. NEW PROCESS: Although boat usage is free of charge, prior to use, residents must visit The Lodge Pool front desk to check-in with their key fob, complete the boat usage agreements, and receive a ticket. Once checked-in, residents can head down to the boat shed by Willow Lake where they will provide the attendant with their ticket and receive assistance getting a boat and life vests. New Service - Patrols in the Community
The HOA Board has contracted a private security company, Signal 88, to perform roving vehicle patrols in Willowsford throughout the summer. Times and days for patrols will vary. However, in the event of an emergency or suspected illegal activity, please continue to contact Loudoun County Sheriff’s Department at 703-771-0121 or 9-1-1.
The Grange Utility Work
Dominion Energy will be installing a zinc ribbon line along the gas line in The Grange. Work is expected to commence in the next few weeks.
Board of Directors Meeting
The Board of Directors meets every other month. The next board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 9th at 1:30 PM at Sycamore House. Click here to view the draft agenda. Open Session will begin at 1:30 PM. Open Session Board Package will be available on the website no later than Monday.
Design Guidelines Update
The Design Review Committee and staff are currently working on a comprehensive review of the Design Guidelines. Feedback previously received by residents, such as trampolines, will be considered by the DRC and a recommendation sent to the Board of Directors. We are in the early stages, but expect to have a draft of the complete document available for community input in July. No changes will take effect until after resident input and Board approval.
Welcome New Team Member
Welcome our newest team member Tracey Mitchell. Tracey is our new Community Standards Administrator; You can expect to see her driving through the community conducting curb appeal inspections and walking properties for comprehensive and DRC application follow-up inspections. Saturday, May 4th - Willowsford Mountain Bike Club is teaming up with the Conservancy to help improve Bull Run Overlook trail for bikers and hikers alike. Come out and lend a helping hand. More people means better trails to enjoy this summer!

The Willowsford Brew Club is hosting their first "road trip" Thursday, May 16th at Solace Brewing Company in Sterling, VA. The club will meet at the brewery at 6:30 pm. Mini Registration and Evaluations
Mini Wave Evaluations will take place at Claude Moore, May 19th from 3 to 5 PM.
Registration for returning families and mini’s will open on May 19th at 8pm. New families may register on May 21st at 8pm. Swimmers must have attended one of the evaluations on March 17th or May 19th and received a recommendation for the Mini Waves program to register.

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 AM at The Lodge, 4/23 to 5/30. Boot Camp is designed to give you a full body workout with modifications for all fitness levels. Cardio and strength exercises are combined to maximize your workout for a strengthening, toning workout incorporating body resistance as well as resistance and weight training equipment. Each workout is different – utilizing the latest trends in fitness as well as the tried-and-true methods.
