Date Night in the Kitchen: Italy

Saturday, July 27th from 6:30 – 9 PM at Sycamore House. Willowsford Kitchen has created an Italian inspired menu and will teach you and your significant other how to create tasty Italian cuisine using products from Willowsford Farm. Date Night in the Kitchen is a hands-on, light cooking class for adults 21+ only. $150/couple. Register here.

Board of Directors Meeting

Development Update: Twin Ponds Park

The Willowsford Development Team has begun work on Twin Ponds Park in The Grove, Section 16. While doing the heavy sitework, they were able to dredge a section of the shoreline, (under their wetlands permit) to provide for easier launching of canoes and kayaks. The contractors then manipulated a number of large boulders into place along the shoreline of the large pond to provide visual interest and outcroppings from which to cast a fishing line. Twin Ponds Park is expected to open next spring—just in time for bass fishing!

Community Standards Inspection Reminder

The following sections in The Grange can expect to see our Community Standards Administrator, Tracey, completing Comprehensive Inspections over the next few months: The Grange – 2, 3A, & 3B. Click here to determine what section your street is in. Tracey will be dressed in Willowsford Gear and/or wearing an ID lanyard. You can expect to see her taking pictures and walking along the sides and rear of the property. Please keep in mind that you may see our Community Standards Team throughout all Villages and Sections completing resale inspections and following up on reported violations.

Summer Concert

Friday, July 12th  from 6 - 9 PM at The Lodge. Ted Garber is back to entertain the residents of Willowsford this summer! Bring a picnic and enjoy an evening of great music and storytelling on the patio. This is a free event, but please, register here.

Summer Sipper Smackdown

Wednesday, July 17th from 6:30 – 9 PM at Sycamore House. Join Chef Bonnie and Sommelier Nick Materese as they guide you through a taste comparison of warm weather wines alongside a series of four al fresco-style small plates. Each dish will be paired with dueling glasses of perfect patio sippers. You decide which pairing wins! The event is 21+ only. $85/person. Register here.

Dive-In Movie

Friday, July 19th from 8:30 - 11 PM at Sycamore Pool. We will be featuring the movie Trolls. Come early to swim and stay through the movie! Registration not required; admission is handled on a first-come, first-served basis until the pool reaches capacity. Please ensure that floats used in the pool are limited to arm floaties, vests, small innertubes, etc. Larger floats and rafts are not permitted for safety reasons.

Willowsford 101

Thursday, July 25th from 6:30 - 8 PM at The Lodge. If you have not already attended Willowsford 101, please join us! Team members from the HOA, Lifestyle, Kitchen, Conservancy and the Farm will be present to give you an overview of each aspect of our beautiful community. Begin the evening by mingling with representatives from our resident Community Clubs. Saturday, August 3rd from 5:30 - 7:30 PM at Tenant House Amphitheater. Hugo the Magician will keep the crowd guessing and laughing with an interactive, kid-friendly magic show. Willowsford Bunco Babes

Thursday, July 11th at 7 PM at The Lodge. Come join a great bunch of Willowsford ladies for a night of fun and laughter! You don't have to know how to play. We are happy to help you learn! Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share and whatever you'd like to drink. Players will also need $10 for Bunco and $3 to play Left, Center, Right. Hope to see you there. Willowsford Brew Club

Friday, July 19th from 6:30 - 9:30 PM at The Lodge. Bring your favorite shandy and burgers for grilling on the patio. In case you're not sure what a shandy is, it's beer mixed with clear, carbonated lemon-lime or lemon flavored beverage, usually about a 50-50 mix. These days there are many shandies in different flavors; the flagship shandy in the states is Leinenkugal's Summer Shandy. Shandies are popular in Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand and at The Lodge on July 19th. Social Club

The Annual Willowsford Social Club Pool Party will be held Saturday, July 20th from 5-8 PM at the Lodge Pool. The event is hosted by the Delorie family. If you did not receive the Evite, please RSVP to willowsfordsocialclub@gmail.com. This is a family-friendly event. Please bring a dish to share and your non-alcoholic beverages of choice. No glass containers are allowed at the pool. Electric outlets will be available, as will ice, plates, and utensils. We hope to see you at the party!

Club Retro-Fit

Club Retro-Fit is designed for the casual walker who wishes to explore Willowsford's scenic wooded trails in the company of others. Led by Bill & Beth Meister and Max Harwell, the pace is leisurely and the conversation is lively. We typically walk on weekdays starting at 9 AM. Because of the vagaries of the weather, the schedule of walks for the week is usually set on Sunday evenings and announced via email. To be added to the list, please reach out to clubretrofit@gmail.com. Children accompanied by their parent(s) are most welcome, but please be mindful of their capabilities.

Our state-of-the-art Fitness Center is located inside The Lodge in The Greens. The facility offers Matrix cardio machines, circuit training weight machines and free weights. Cardio machines include iPhone/iPod connectors and personal TV stations. Key fob access is available 4 AM - 11 PM daily.
