Revised Design Guidelines- Feedback RequestedWe need your input! The Design Review Committee has completed a thorough review of the Design Guidelines and has proposed several revisions. Aside from changing the name to Design Standards and focusing more toward existing homes rather than builder new construction, the most notable revisions are included in the Outdoor Lighting section and the Trampoline section adding standards to restrictively permit above-ground trampolines. The proposed revisions are “tracked” for ease in distinguishing between existing language (in black) and proposed language (any other color). Click here to review the complete document. We kindly request you click here to provide feedback regarding the proposed revisions. The comment period will be open through September 4th.

Resident Board Member Update"Hello Everyone,
We hope you are staying cool out there! All in all, it's been a great summer so far. The HOA Board of Directors met at Sycamore House on July 18th. Every other meeting is held in the evening to give daytime-working residents an opportunity to attend without taking time off. All residents and owners are welcome to attend HOA Board meetings and can remain for all parts of the meeting with the exception of Executive Session, which is usually held at the end of the meeting.
A number of residents attended the last meeting and raised some good issues for the HOA to consider. We'll address some of them in our update. But we first want to thank everyone who took the time share their concerns and ideas in person. One of the biggest reasons we both got involved with the HOA was to meet and work together with neighbors. Your energy is making that possible, and fun too. Thank you..." Continue reading here.

Enforcement of Open Space ViolationsWe know that most of our residents appreciate the Willowsford vision of a community designed to be integral with its natural setting of expansive open space. Regardless of whether the open space is managed by the HOA or Conservancy, please understand it can NOT be maintained, altered, planted or claimed in any way by residents.
We have seen an increase in what we assume are well-intentioned efforts to maintain or plant open spaces that effectively expand individual yards past a homeowner’s property line. Obviously, this cannot be permitted for many reasons including liability, ecological damage, inconsistent appearance, and out of respect for the larger community. Therefore, the HOA and Conservancy will continue comprehensive enforcement to prevent such intrusions into open space. If an open space encroachment is observed, any unauthorized landscaping and private property must be removed and any maintenance must cease. Habitat must be restored to its original condition at the homeowner’s cost. Continuing violations will be subject to enforcement which may include monetary charges and the suspension of amenity usage. Such enforcement ensures the sustainable management of Willowsford open space for the benefit of the community at large. Please click here for the complete notice.
