The Association and your Developer begin snow removal once the depth of the snow reaches two (2) inches on the roads and is still falling (as reported at Dulles Airport) and/or no later than four (4) hours after snow stops fully. Salt and/or sand may be applied on an "as needed" basis
Main roads are plowed first, followed by secondary roads, cul-de-sacs, and amenity parking areas.
Salt and/or sand may be applied in trouble spots, such as slopes and curves if conditions are icy and the temperature is below freezing and forecast to remain below freezing for an extended period.
Homeowners are responsible for driveways, fire hydrants, and any sidewalk or bus stop adjacent to your lot and any roads with a common shared driveway (Pipestems). It is recommended that you shovel your driveway and sidewalk after the plow comes through.
